Financial Controller

Investigo are delighted to have been retained by a growing, highly profitable Buckingham based SME to recruit a Financial Controller, on a permanent basis.

The Financial Controller will report into the CFO and they will be responsible for the day to day running of the financial processes, systems and department. This role is a classic, hands-on SME FC position and key duties will include:

• Performing all balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculation of intercompany recharges
• Production of management information
• Management of the purchase and sales ledger staff
• Management of financial systems, reporting & processes for the Group
• Interacting with other departments on financial matters
• Ensuring financial controls are in place and operating effectively
• Managing, forecasting and reporting of cash flow
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Recommending and implementing improvements to systems and reporting
• Managing the audit process
• Ensuring statutory filings such as Vat and Corporation Tax returns are submitted in a timely fashion

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified or QBE individual who possesses hands-on experience of working in an SME finance department. They will be practical and willing to get involved across all areas of finance, whilst also having the ability to aid the commercial decisions of the business. Candidates will need to be committed, enthusiastic and looking for a long term role where they can make a difference. Previous experience of working with stock and stock systems would be advantageous.

Our Client is offering a salary of £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
