Job description

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing Private Equity Business Services Organisation who are looking to recruit a Divisional Finance Director to be based at their office in Worcestershire.

As the Divisional Finance Director for a £15M T/O Division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic planning within the Division. You will be responsible for providing financial leadership, guidance, and support to drive the division's financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the achievement of the company's overall objectives. Your strategic insights and financial acumen will be instrumental in shaping the division's growth trajectory and optimising financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Development and execution of financial strategies aligned with the Division's objectives and the Company's overarching goal
  • Providing accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making processes
  • Overseeing the budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with Divisional and Corporate objective
  • Managing financial risks and opportunities, implementing effective mitigation strategies as required
  • Collaborating with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
  • Monitoring and driving compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial operations
  • Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders, including Auditors, Regulators, and Financial Institutions
  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and ensure compliance

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with significant PQE and a proven track record of success in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a business services organisation. They will possess strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in a UK context, and they will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build effective relationships is a pre-requisite. Candidates will be capable of demonstrating the ability to think strategically and translate strategic objectives into actionable financial plans and initiatives. They will have proven experience leading finance-related change initiatives and driving organisational transformation, as well as the strong decision-making skills with the ability to make sound judgements based on financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic considerations. ​​​Candidates will have an inspirational leadership style with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Any exposure to M&A and integration would be an advantage, as the business plans to grow both organically and by acquisition to reach their ambitious growth plans over the next two years.

Our Client is offering a salary of £75,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits.
