Nick Elliott is UK CEO of the artificial intelligence company Helsing, and a Non-Executive Director with Turner & Townsend.He has previously led major businesses in defence, government, and rail.Most recently he was Director General (DG) of the UK Vaccine Taskforce for which he was awarded a CB in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

With an initial degree in civil engineering, he served as an officer in the Royal Engineers, leading and delivering combat engineering and construction operations and projects
worldwide. He has commanded a bomb disposal squadron, a combat engineer regiment and was Commandant of the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers.He has served on operational tours in
Northern Ireland, the Gulf War, the Balkans and Iraq where he was awarded an MBE.
