ABC & Tax Evasion Manager - Global Investment Bank

Working across the group, the successful individual will take ownership in providing advice and expertise to senior stakeholders and influencing, as well as working in partnership with, other key functions and business areas to ensure adherence to relevant Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Tax Evasion policies and frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Providing specialist advice on complex queries and issues from relevant stakeholders
- Playing a key role in the definition, maintenance and implementation of ABC and Tax Evasion related policies and standards setting out minimum requirements across the financial crime lifecycle
- Representing externally on Anti Bribery & Corruption and FOTE matters where appropriate
- Playing a key role in the provision of a second line of defence by advising stakeholders on how to achieve compliance with regulatory
- Providing guidance on new and emerging regulatory issues and developments.
- Assisting with the compilation and reporting of Management Information to senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven FCC experience, specifically covering the areas of ABC and/or Tax Evasion.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK financial services regulatory framework, industry trends and best practice
- Sound experience of drafting ABC and TEFO policy documents in a Financial Crime Compliance environment
- Experience of applying informed and risk-based judgement from a regulatory perspective to commercial situations.
- Excellent analytical, interpretation, influencing and communication skills (verbal and written); with an ability to communicate and network effectively to influence internal stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to develop risk-based strategies and processes.
- A recognised Financial Crime qualification is desirable.
