As an Account Director you will be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects. The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking and is motivated to drive the business forward. Combining expertise in account management and leadership skills, you will deliver a range of medical communications plans and programmes, including digital / multi-channel communications plans and medical education programmes to clients, ensuring both client and asset success. You will also be responsible for over-seeing the medical writing, editing, and creative and digital team delivery to ensure client needs are met.
To succeed in the role, a Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree) is preferred. You will also have significant experience in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical marketing environment. In addition, a proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience is required. To be successful you would need to have developed strategic communication plans and programs in a previous role. You should have good financial understanding and have had experience with budgeting. You will also be able to work well within a team and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
