Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, Staff Expenses
  • Providing periodic reporting and oversight of all AP transactions
  • Cash Forecasting (Daily, Monthly, Annually)
  • Ensure all invoices, credit notes and adjustments are processed in an efficient manner
  • Bacs files for Supplier payments and AR Refunds according to the agreed payment calendar
  • Reconcile statements monthly according to requirements
  • Creating and maintaining process, procedure and training documentation
  • Processing of all purchase invoices
  • Processing expense claims, checking to receipts, ensuring correct VAT treatment and coding
  • Ad-hoc support to the wider finance function

o Working knowledge of an AP role
o Understanding of VAT & basic accounting norms - double entry, general ledgers and sub-ledgers
