up to £24K + bonus
West London (office based 2 days a week)

I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a Global, next generation Events company who are at the forefront of what they do! You will have at least 12 months experience in Accounts Payable, be a self-starter, driven with the ability to work under pressure.


As a member of the accounts payable team, you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for the companies accounts payable process: dealing with supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.
This role is well-suited to a smart, articulate, highly personable individual, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who is an expert in multitasking (logical reasoning, attention to detail, excellent relationship management)

The role will include:

  • Ensure company policy/procedures for authorising invoices are adhered to.
  • Processing multicurrency invoices and expenses
  • Ensure invoices are process with correct VAT inputs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of supplier payments by BACS/CHAPS
  • Post bank transactions
  • Resolve supplier queries
  • Manage shared accounts payable inbox
  • Process Credit Card expenses
  • Set up new vendors
  • Maintenance of Purchase Orders
  • Month end assistance
  • Vendor database maintenance
  • Adhoc accounts payable queries as required
