I am partnering with a fantastic company, who fosters a vibrant culture of teamwork and openness! Looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Manager. Applicants must come from a Property/Real Estate backgorund.

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home
Location: City of London

What can you expect? (include but not limited to)

  • Manage the daily workload of the Accounts Payable team.
  • Serve as the escalation contact for all AP-related issues, both within the organisation and with external parties.
  • Supervise the payment process to guarantee weekly setup and processing of all payments, including communication and circulation to the board of directors for approvals.
  • Oversee the corporate entities' management, ensuring invoices and payments adhere to payment deadlines.
  • Take the lead on process enhancement initiatives, exploring improvements for internal efficiency and to meet external supplier deadlines.
  • Register and establish suppliers for direct debit payments where applicable.
  • Prepare payment batches for multiple entities, verify cashbook reconciliation, confirm fund availability, and promptly identify any shortfalls.
  • Establish weekly and bi-weekly payment schedules and handle ad hoc payments, both internally and externally.
  • Conduct cashbook reconciliation before each payment run using bank statements.
  • Post cashbook journals periodically to Sage.
  • Input credit card statements into Yardi, organising top-up payments for site.

What experience/skill set will you bring?

  • Accounts payable managerial experience - 3 years+
  • Real Estate background
  • Good working knowledge of Yardi, Excel and sage 50
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Process improvement experience (desirable)
