Job description

I am recruiting for a Global Music Company, known for their commitment to innovation and excellence. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated OCT/Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview: As an OCT/Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will manage daily Accounts Receivable (A/R), and cash application activities. You will develop and execute continuous process improvements to streamline order-to-cash process.

What you will be doing

  • Complete the recording, depositing and application of AR banking and netting payments in a timely manner.
  • Complete standard invoice requests, ensuring accuracy regarding AR and Revenue coding.
  • Complete credit notes and allocate as require.
  • Facilitate monthly A/R close process, including preparation of general ledger, adjustments, journal entries, and reconciliation of specific account.
  • Ensure that unallocated / unidentified cash receipts are addressed and posted timely.
  • Process dispute/deduction adjustments and write-off balance.
  • Query incomplete or inaccurate billing requests, liaising with the labels and business units to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with credit control team if required.

About You:

  • 1+ years of experience in accounting role with high volume of transaction processing in financial ERP.
  • Understanding of internal controls, indirect taxes, and service desk operations (desired).
  • Strong work-ethic and a self-starter who proactively seeks out new solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects working well under pressure.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge and experience using SAP.
