Acturis Business Analyst

Business Analyst // Acturis // Product // Digital Transformation // Insurance // London Market // £600-700 p/day

Our client a London Market Insurer has a requirement for a Business Analyst with Acturis experience to join their London based team. This is a hybrid role and will involve some travel to the office.

• Acturis experience (ideal but not a pre-requisite)
• Experience in technical business analysis
• A sound working knowledge of the Insurance industry especially The London Market
• Business analysis certification
• Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories
• Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills
• An appreciation of data quality, how to assess it and address issues with the business team
• An architectural awareness aimed at improving efficiency and streamlining business processes
• Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes; an ability to interact with all layers of the business
• Ability to communicate using clear and uncomplicated terminology
• Understanding of the project/programme delivery (end to end) process and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies
• Experience of working as part of a scrum team and involvement in agile ceremonies is desirable
• Flexibility and ability to handle multiple projects, thrive in a high- pressure, fast paced environment
• Effective communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills
• Experience of working as part of a scrum team and conducting agile ceremonies/events
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)
