Purpose of the Role
The core focus of this job is to develop and provide application support across the Europe application estate, ensuring the highest standards of service to our customers. The Analyst will actively ensure applications are used to the best effect whilst complying with appropriate security standards.
This is a large implemetation of MS Dynamics F&O, working with a global organization that is going through a huge multi-year digital transformation with some extreamley exciting projects in the pipeline.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, expert technical application support to agreed Service Levels.
  • Work in partnership with the broader EU IT Team in a technical lead role, providing application subject matter expertise to support solution design, development and implementation.
  • Engage and work closely with the Project Integrate team; functional & technical consultants and SMEs, to ensure a smooth transition and support as we plan, prepare and move from legacy to new systems.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders including external suppliers, other support staff and end users to provide high quality, secure services to the business.
  • Lead the successful implementation of patches and releases to ensure the ongoing maintenance, security and development of applications.
  • Effectively manage incidents, requests, problems and changes through the use of the ticketing system, whilst adhering to agreed processes and procedures.
  • Work in partnership with the business to develop a culture of ownership, engagement and openness, promoting the effective use of business systems.
  • Provide documentation, training and mentoring for IT support staff and users to facilitate the effective support of applications.
  • Provide cover for 1st line support staff when required.
  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor service levels, providing a point of escalation when required.
  • Lead and manage supplier and customer service review meetings.
  • Manage and resolve IT security vulnerabilities related to applications.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage risks in relation to the application portfolio.
  • Support the identification and improvement of data quality, collaborating with others to support the delivery of effective business intelligence and reporting.



Experiance

  • Experience at working within a complex, multi-business, multi-stakeholder, multi-system environment
  • Experience of extensive application support of complex off-the-shelf application, specifically in the ERP domain and ideally MS Dynamics AX/D365 or F&O or equivalent
  • Experience of bridging depth of knowledge of functional processes and technical application back-end, in order to provide effective application support services.
  • Broad experience of IT project delivery across a range of disciplines, including but not limited to core IT projects, business applications and development projects and business process change projects.
  • Broad awareness of IT industry and security best practises
  • Proven skills and confidence using standard office software
  • Experience of working with external suppliers and partners in a complex organisation
