Assistant Accountant - 12 Month FTC

Investigo are exclusively recruiting an Assistant Accountant (12 month FTC) for a client based in Corby, Northamptonshire.

In the position Assistant Accountant Corby you will report to the Finance Manager managing all aspects of sales ledger and assist with producing monthly management accounts in line with company standards. Other duties to include:

• Assistance with preparation of accounts
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Preparation and management of accruals/prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• Daily cash analysis and maintenance of cash flows
• Maintenance of cashbook
• Sales ledger maintenance (posting invoices, credits, payments and credit control)
• Customer reconciliations
• Assistance with preparation of annual Audit pack
• Support annual budgeting process
• Ad hoc analysis
• Provide guidance to Accounts Assistance

The Profile

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT part qualified

Previous nominal ledger accounting experience

Ability to work under own initiative adhering to tight month end deadlines

Ability to communicate across all levels of stakes holders

The Salary

£25,000 to £30,000 plus full benefits
