Assistant Accountant

Investigo Finance are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an SME client based in Milton Keynes.

In the position of Assistant Accountant Milton Keynes you will work within a close knit team supporting the Finance Manager with financial controls to include:

fixed asset accounting- including tax and statutory reporting

bank reconciliations

oversee weekly payrolls managed by third parties

posting of payroll journals and organisation of weekly payments

Assist with sales and cost sales forecast

Assist with ad hoc projects to revenue recognition

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to be at final stages of AAT or qualified by experience

Accounting experience to trial balance

Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines

Good analytical head with previous system skills

Team player and you will assist colleagues during key month end periods

Salary

£24,000 to £28,000 plus benefits
