Assistant Accountant (Part Qualified) - Leciester/Hybrid - Up to £30,000 + Study Support

A leading creative organisation based in Leciester is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their large friendly and welcoming Finance team.

Assistant Accountant (Part Qualified)

• Part-qualified accountant (studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or AAT)
• Finance degree or equivalent qualification
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Well-versed in Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
• Strong understanding of balance sheet management
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Liaise with other departments to gather necessary financial information
