Assistant Financial Accountant

Investigo have exclusively partnered with a growing business based in Watford to recruit for an Assistant Financial Accountant on a full time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an active part qualified studier with previous experience in a similar position to join an ambitious and dynamic company. The ideal candidate will need to be someone who is driven to complete their studies, will be hard working & committed as well as having a proactive and flexible approach to work.

This role will be paying between £27,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to;-

• Supporting with month end reporting
• Support on internal and external audit
• Building excellent relationships with key stakeholders and other areas of the business
• Part Responsibility for initial review of the overhead costs during period end
• Preparing and carrying out the first stage review of key balance sheet reconciliations
• Tracking actual financial variances in comparison with company forecasts
• Invoice Reconciliation
• Stock reconciliation
• Supporting with Analysis & reporting
• Other Ad-hoc finance project work

The Ideal Candidate;-

• Actively studying towards an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
• Good Excel skills -including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
• Commercial and business awareness
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
• Have experience in handling large amounts of data
• Previous business partnering experience desirable
