Assistant Financial Accountant

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a Bedford based Client with their recruitment of a Assistant Financial Accountant, on a permanent basis.

This role will report into the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for the provision of financial and non-financial information, ensuring timely and accurate information is delivered. They will implement and maintain financial controls that ensure there are no material errors in routine financial reporting. The Assistant Financial Accountant will also be expected to deliver accurate reporting of assets and liabilities by continuously reviewing control processes, and they will also deliver accurate and timely year end and half year financial statements for the business.

The successful candidate is likely to be an active ACCA or CIMA studier with 2 years of financial accounting, and financial controls experience. They will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge stakeholders.
