Assistant Product Manager

This is an exciting role to join a PE backed business with very big growth plans as an Assistant Product Manager reporting to the Product Manager. The business is a distributor, wholesaler and has an online business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the product manager with identifying and developing relevant market/customer led design initiatives that will support profitable growth.
• Assisting with product range definition & portfolio management.
• Develop & maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers keeping updated of future developments and keeping at the forefront of future trends and opportunities.
• Gathering customer insight.
• Assist with identifying, justify, and lead growth initiatives to enrich the product mix.
• Project management, market testing and product launches.

Competencies and personal attributes:

• Graduate level in any discipline however ideally would be in business related field.
• 2-3 years experience in relevant product development role
• An excellent communicator with good IT skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
