TITLE:

Associate Scientist II, Upstream Process Development

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the design, execution, and analysis of Upstream Process Development (UPD) experiments
• Maintain Upstream Process Development lab; Clean, assemble, & sterilize bioreactors; Maintain laboratory equipment; Stock UPD laboratory supplies
• Prepare cell culture media and other solutions appropriate to scale
• Passage cell culture, manufacture cell banks and operate bioreactors

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with mammalian cell-culture techniques, including aseptic technique
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
