Azure Engineer - £700PD - (Inside IR35) - London/Hybrid

I am currently working with an Insurance business who are looking to bring in an Azure Engineer to join their team. They are looking for someone with exceptional application migration experience to work on projects to migrate 700+ applications.

Key Objectives:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of application migration projects to the Azure cloud platform.
• Assess existing applications and infrastructure to determine migration feasibility and develop migration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Implement best practices for optimizing application performance, scalability, and security in the Azure environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application migration and performance.

Experience:

• Strong expertise in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
• Proven experience migrating applications from on-premises environments to Azure cloud.
• Solid understanding of application architectures, including monolithic, microservices, and containerized applications.
• Experience with migration tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Database Migration Service.
