Our challenger banking client are undergoing a significant finance transformation programme that covers everything from customer journey through to the core banking system change. Whilst the customer journey has now been digitalised the back end system changes are still in need of improvement to improve both capability & efficiency.

The business are therefore looking for a BA / PM hybrid to initially assess the current state and help shape the future state of the back end processes. The role will work directly with both the BAU finance function to understand their needs & operative within change to help deliver the specific changes.

Whilst there is a target future state the business are looking for someone that has undertaken a similar project within a banking organisation to help shape & adapt that model to ensure it's effectiveness for the business.

The business would like to see the following experience:

• Banking
• Finance change project experience
• Accountancy qualification (this will help with understanding the needs of the Finance function)
• Business analysis
• Project management
• Stakeholder management at senior level
• Strong process experience

The role will involve:

• As is to be process mapping
• User journey work
• Management of key stakeholders
• Working closely with finance to understand capability needs
• Proposing and delivering complex business & system changes
• Working closely with data teams
• End to end change delivery

The is role is to ensuring the business implement the correct changes to their account opening journey at the back end as part of a wider banking digitalisation programme. The role will give the candidate exposure to senior individuals within the organisation & given them the chance to deliver a significant end to end change for the organisation.
