The Technology Lead's role is to be responsible for the application technical environment of WJ's Critical systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluation and implementing enhancements and solutions for performance monitoring, system configuration, design and security of SAP (ERP) and Timegate/Pass & PDC (Time & Attendance/Vetting) and its interfaces; collaborating with partners, IT team members and key business stakeholders.


  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and agree with the business
  • Create, issue and maintain standards, guidelines, processes and procedures
  • Provision of documentation for all levels of the IT and functional teams
  • Participate and conduct knowledge transfer and technical workshop sessions with other team members
  • Publish and adherence to best practices for security, performance and maintenance of services
  • Work with functional and IT teams to agree, publish and continually define Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
  • Maintain ongoing updates and actions of ISMS
  • Continually seeks Opportunities For Improvements (OFIs) and build case for budget and resources
  • Implement processes and adherence to ITSM (incident management, problem resolution and change management etc)
  • Adherence to WJ Core Pillars
  • Sound ITIL, ISO27001, ISO22301 and Data Protection methodologies
  • Support, Maintenance and responsibility of:
  • SAP ECC6, SAP Netweaver, MS SQL Server, Solution Manager, PI/Process Orchestration, Business Objects Data Services, Business Warehouse, Business Intelligence,Productivity Pack
  • LSNW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) Tool
  • System copy and migration using db back up/restore, storage, snapshot including Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (RTO/RPO)

Key Experience:

  • At least 3+ years working experience responsible for configuring, maintaining and supporting SAP Basis, SQL server databases and associated technical environment
  • Ability to clearly articulate verbal and written requirements between customers and technical resources
  • Implementation and deployment of SAP GUI
  • Performed user and licence audits
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills
  • Ability to research and learn new technologies
  • Working knowledge and understanding of integrations between SAP HR and Payroll modules and external systems such as third party Time and Attendance systems


  • Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001, ISO22301, BCP, compliance and audit requirements
  • Implementation and successful delivery of SAP ECC and environment
  • Working experience of sectors utilizing front line staff representing a variety of wage types, work schedules and strong emphasis of Tupe Transfers a distinct advantage
  • Working knowledge of SAP technical infrastructure including (and not limited) to Basis, PI, Solution Manager, SAP Support, LSNW, SQL Server scripting and querying
