Business Analyst

A well known and respected FS client of our is looking for an experinced, presentable and well versed Business Analyst to support their team on contract basis for 12 months while achieving their 1st AAF 01/20 report. This will involve working with colleagues from around the business, capturing and reviewing processes and mapping against the applicable control objectives contained within ICAEW Technical Release AAF 01/20.

Key Responsibilities

• Document the applicable control objectives from ICAEW's Technical Release 01/20 AAF
• Review and document all applicable company process, controls, checklists, exception reports, MI & escalation processes
• Maintain a systems & process change log
• Map relevant processes / controls against ICAEW's control objectives
• Identify and raise any gaps
• Write AAF 01/20 controls wording
• Facilitate internal testing of controls and wording
• Update and review controls & AAF wording following testing, system / process changes
• Facilitate testing by external auditor
• Provide commentary for Management Response if required

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Proven business analysis experience within DC with a track record of successful implementations & strong business relationships
• Strong attention to detail, analysis skills and proven project discipline
• Flexible and adaptable, responds rapidly to changing agendas. Able to re-prioritise and organise effectively
• Ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation & facilitation skills
• Strong "can do" attitude with a strong desire to make things happen with a high level of ownership
• Recognised Business Analyst qualification desirable
• Project management experience desirible
