Change Adoption Lead & Training Manager: Microsoft Project

Role: Change Manager - digital technology enablement pilot project
Term: 6 months initially
Rate: £700per day
Location: London, 3 days pw in office
Start: December

Essential: Extensive change management experience within technology programmes, training, L&D, adoption assessment, feedback sessions, business case review for each function. Systems implementation project and tech-led change experience is preferred.

Are you a skilled project manager with a knack for training and a proficiency in Microsoft Project? My client is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Training and Project Manager. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of a M365 enhancement while also facilitating the training and development of our teams. This is a pilot programme for an initial 300 user group, once the pilot is completed the incumbent will have the chance to lead the global roll out.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Utilize Microsoft Project to create and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and track progress.
    • Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
  2. Training and Development:

    • Develop and deliver training programs for team members at various skill levels.
    • Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
    • Conduct hands-on training sessions and workshops to ensure practical application in project management activities.
    • Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members to enhance their proficiency in project management tools.
  3. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project goals and status.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations.
    • Facilitate regular project status meetings and reporting to keep all parties informed.
  4. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process improvement within project management practices.
    • Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency.
    • Gather feedback from team members to continually refine and improve training programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in change and project management, preferably with a focus on IT projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its applications in project management.
  • Strong training and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
