Chief Risk Officer

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for implementing the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework within the region and across Corporate Functions across the business
• Developing relationships with key functional stakeholders and leadership team to assist with the implementation and embedding of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Provide input into the Group Annual Risk Plan and execute the plan within the region and Corporate Functions
• Emphasise the code of conduct and be a leader on developing and implementing risk management responsibilities
• Regulatory requirements such as the ICAAP and ILAAP, Pillar 3 Disclosure, Recovery Plan;
• Make sure that the staff are adhering to and driving risk culture throughout the business
• Development of climate risk framework;
• Monitoring control processes for operational risk, market risk and credit risk;

Qualities:

• Previous leadership role essential
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and demonstrate motivational qualities to achieve desired results
• Management experience is crucial
• Strong knowledge and understanding of risks related to clients and counterparties (hedge funds, asset managers, broker-dealers, banks, etc).
• Strong understanding of Risk Frameworks
• Excellent understanding of the regulatory framework in EMEA and impacts on the wider business
