Cloud Accountant

Investigo are partnering with a well known accountancy practice based in Milton Keynes looking to recruit a Cloud Accountant (on track development to become Assistant Cloud Accounts Manager)

In the position of Cloud Accountant Milton Keynes you will report to Head of Cloud Accounting and and support the business as they transition through a period of growth. Key duties to include:

• Xero expert within the team - implementing cloud accounting technologies and training clients
• Managing and on boarding clients onto the cloud accounting software
• review and manage jobs including VAT returns, management accounts and year end accounts
• Liaising directly with clients, being the point of contact for any queries they have
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping and other accounting principles
• Working on a mixed portfolio of clients
• Assist in the management and development of juniors within the Team
• Assist in the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures as well as assist in the development of new services

The profile

The successful candidate will need to be a Qualified Accountant either ACCA/ACA

Previous Xero accounting software experience essential

Ability to communicate effectively with both internally and with clients

Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting standards, direct and indirect taxes

Ability to work under own initiative and collectively as a team

The Salary

£42,000 to £45,000 plus good benefits package and Hybrid working (3 days office based)
