Interim Financial Controller

***We require an individual who has experience in setting up finance teams***

Up to £80K

Remotely based with occasional travel to St Albans required from June

A unique opportunity is on offer for this large FTSE listed business who are experience a change in their finance department. One of the critical changes is the creation of a new finance unit to be part of the wider finance team.

Reporting directly into the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the initial set up of the commercial accounting team.

This team will be responsible for all month end activity and reporting to the commercial teams within the group.

Key Duties

• Support the initial set up of the Financial Accounting team while transitioning to new ways of working
• Building and recruited a high quality finance team
• Leading the team to undertake on going monthly activities

Due to the nature of the role, you must be a qualified Accountant.
