Commercial Finance Analyst

Investigo are excited to be working with a client based in Dunstable who are looking for an Interim Commercial Finance Analyst to join their growing team!

The role:

The Interim Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for financial support of the UK Commercial and Propositions Teams through stakeholder management, reporting and analysis.
It is the finance business partner for UK accommodation sales, non-expansionary refurb capital projects, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales & Distribution.

The Interim Commercial Finance Analyst will deliver the key financial processes for these areas as well as ensuring costs and revenues are accounted for correctly.

• Responsible for bottom up UK Accommodation Sales budget and forecasting processes
  Creation of the non-expansionary Capital budget, forecast and delivering the 3 year plan processes
• Responsible for UK Sales & Marketing and Overheads budget and forecast processes
• Tracking costs and revenues vs Budget and prior year, to identify and understand underlying trends and any risk/opportunity
• Tracking of refurb costs vs Budget/Approval for non-expansionary refurb projects
• Responsible for ensuring internal controls are maintained in line with FC
• Ensuring costs and revenues are accounted for correctly and in line with accounting Policy
• PCR Review of Capital Investment projects validating costs & benefits
• Ownership of financial modelling and control over key assumptions
• Other ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of UK Commercial and Proposition teams
  
  

Profile:

• Part Qualified, QBE or newly qual
• Experience within a similar role
• Experience working with financial models & templates
• Experience handling a high volume of data
• Experience with accounting concepts e.g. Accruals, Prepayments
• Good IT and Excel skills and the ability to learn

On offer:

• Length - 5 month contract
• Hybrid pattern - 3 days in the office & 2 days at home
• Day rate - £250 - £275 per day (inside IR35)
