Role Purpose:

Support the exploitation of the UK business opportunity by providing pro-active, insightful analysis and reporting that enables the business to make informed decisions around the delivery of the overall business strategy and capital investment
Support the focus on performance management by providing on-going monitoring/tracking of performance and explanations for variances

Sitting in the FP&A Team, your responsibilities will be:

Support the development of submissions for the Long-Range Plan, Budget and Forecast - specifically in relation to central costs and marketing spend
Analyse variance to forecast for central costs and department spend in the period end close process and provide updated projections for spend balance of year
Ensure accurate and timely production and delivery of weekly trading packs, month end packs and all other reports that are required to be produced
Support the continual improvement of existing reporting standards to reduce production and delivery time of all reports
Assist in the development of standard reports for the business
Periodic actualisation of the operating model and assistance in scenario planning using the model
Provide support in evaluating and modelling business expansion opportunities
Provide pro-active, insightful, high quality decision-making support, ensuring business wide implications are considered, that enables the business to make the best decisions with regards to investment decisions
Evaluate actual vs planned outcomes of key strategic and tactical decisions to support the delivery of the required ROI
Provide ad-hoc analytical support as required
