I have exclusively partnered with a growing Hospitality Business in London who are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Finance Analyst to support their Business Controllers across various offices. This is a hands-on role with exposure to a broad range of finance activities, including month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data while helping drive efficiencies across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Support:
Assist Business Controllers in the month-end process, including journal postings, account reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts. Support budget reviews, forecasts, and annual audits.

Payroll & Staff Costs:
Collaborate with the People Team to process and review payroll data. Ensure control systems are maintained across all transactions, particularly sales, cost of sales, and staffing.

Accounts Reconciliation & Cash Management:
Manage weekly postings and reconciliation of received payments. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all daily/monthly transactions are recorded and reported accurately.

Sales & VAT Reporting:
Calculate and post sales, including VAT breakdowns and Tronc (tips). Maintain the trial balance, including schedules for prepayments, accruals, accounts payable, and receivable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Events team to ensure timely invoicing for events and stays, and complete regular deposit reconciliations.

Travel & Team Engagement:
Be willing to travel between the offices to promote collaboration, ensure continuity, and maintain strong information flows.

Ad Hoc Projects & Analysis:
Support Business Controllers with project-based analysis and one-off financial investigations as required.

About You:
Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
At least 5 years previous experience as a Commercial Finance Analyst
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Skilled in using accounting systems and software with strong Excel capability.
Confident working independently and within a team.
Effective communicator and trusted business partner.
Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Willing to contribute to sustainability improvements in the workplace.
