Commercial Finance Analyst

I am partnering with a large international, well renowned business who are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Investments Team based in Thame. The role provides analysis, insight and actionable recommendations across functions to help improve business decision making and drive value creation. In addition, you will be supporting the Senior Finance & Commercial Analyst in the preparation, review and subsequent measurement of significant financial investments.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide analysis on areas of commercial or operational opportunity within the functions
• Prepare detailed analysis to support recommendations for implementation that maximises value creation and or mitigates emerging risks
• Support on the creation of detailed business cases to ensure senior stakeholders are well informed and results in improved decision making
• Provide regular reporting with commentary to stakeholders within functions
• Ensure sufficient reporting is in place to provide detailed measurement and through post investment reviews analyse the success criteria in relation to the business case including but not limited to financial measures
• Support in the development of both tactical and strategic initiatives including those forming part of longer term planning whilst not being afraid to challenge stakeholders across the business as these projects are rolled out
• During planning cycles ensure the Food & Beverage and Maintenance functions are accurately represented and aligned to current trading and future business cases
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to the business as required
• Provide detailed financial modelling
