Commercial Finance Business Partner - Challenger Bank - London - up to £80,000

Are you an accountant who enjoys building relationships across the business? Do you take pride in visualising numbers and engaging stakeholders?

A high-growth challenger bank is currently hiring for a senior finance business partner to work closely with business heads to support in driving continued growth of the business.

There will be two key objectives to this role:

1. Providing essential financial information to stakeholders, along with practical implications, commentary and suggestions on risks / opportunities. This could be round cost base, budgeting, product pricing, profitability or regulations. Anything that will have a commercial impact on the Bank

2. Drive a culture of Business Partnering from the Finance function across your relevant stakeholders. Be well recognised and well respected across the Bank, especially in a remote working world, creating a culture where Finance are seen as a key support function.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be someone who has a track record of delivering effective business partnering in previous roles. You will be able to build relationships with challenging colleagues who might not necessarily see things the same way you do.

You will also be someone who has previous experience of working in retail banking or working with retail banking products (loans, cars, mortgages, savings etc.).

The bank is going through a number of significant growth / improvement projects including a digital transformation and major systems implementations. There are a number of routes of progression from this role, and given the visibility across the business, plenty of scope to develop.
