Commercial Finance Manager

Investigo are exclusively partnering a global business services company near Newbury, to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.

You will be supporting financial growth by taking ownership of the financial operations, controls and management information for the Business Unit.

Responsible for providing insight and influence to impact performance and maintain competitive advantage alongside financial and contract support leadership and direction in the Business Unit. Act as point of liaison for Finance and Commercial issues for the Client and Contract teams.

You will also be full responsible for supporting, developing and training support staff but still maintain a hands on approach, including posting journals and running the month end close process.

This will involve personal attitude, use of skills and dissemination of knowledge. Use specialist skills and experience to provide insight and influence in order to impact performance standards. Implement improvements, drive change, raise standards through the direct and indirect management of the team. Act as a business partner to the Business Unit Director to both advise and challenge senior management on contract performance.

Looking for the following:

• Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• Strong track record of management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting alongside month end.
• Hands of attitude and will to get stuck in.
• Ability to influence at all level of management

This role is currently remote and likely to be no more than 2-3 days in office once return.
