Compliance Officer - Advisory - Contract Role

Investigo are supporting one of our Investment/ Retail Banking clients with the recruitment of a Compliance Officer to support them across Advisory compliance.

This role sits within their Regulatory Compliance department, and will be a 6 month day rate contract role. Day rate between £400 to £600 per day, inside IR35, but could be negotiable.

This role will be based working from home initially, however the main office location is based in the City of London. You will be joining a mid-sized regulatory compliance function, this is hands-on role where you will need great communication skills for regular liaison with first line business teams.

Main purpose of the role:

You will be supporting and advising across the bank on a wide range of compliance matters such as SM&CR, Conduct Risk, Complaints, Personal Account Dealing and Financial Promotions, CASS, Governance, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience. Your role will also include compliance risk analysis and prioritisation, as well as making sure that the compliance framework is effectively implemented across the bank.

Overview of duties:

• Horizon scanning
• Compliance advice, support and training
• Incident management, and reporting regulatory breaches
• Reviewing and updating policies and procedures
• Production and management of MI
