AWS Developer/Engineer - Greenfield Dev/Cloud Build

Location & Duration: Remote with occasional travel to Derby, no more than once per month - 6-month duration

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £600 per day

Investigo are partnered with a well-known eCommerce software house with offices spread throughout the UK who are looking to build a new to market product. We are looking to engage a AWS Developer/Engineer with skills in spanning across AWS and software development who can quickly embed into the team and heavily contribute to both the cloud solution and code on a real greenfield project; there's currently zero code base. You'll get the opportunity to guide them in best of tech, build, process, etc.

This role will work on a project outside of BAU and we have confirmed this role is outside IR35 - you'll join a group on consultants on this build who will be doing the majority of heavy lifting on the .Net Core platform. Technically you'll be working mainly with AWS and .Net Core, but also across the application build who use a wider technology stack with C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Node. The applications are going to be built using a combination of front-end; React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with back-end built using C# .Net Core, SQL Server and hosted in AWS utilising all of its functionality; S3, Lambdas, API Gateway, etc. .

Skills

• A hands-on full-stack development background working with complex greenfield projects utilising AWS and .Net (and a combination of the above) building SaaS / PaaS applications
• Previous experience working on cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, etc
• Experienced working in a TDD environment and small but effective Agile teams
• Any experience working on true greenfield application builds from day one would be hugely beneficial

This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £600 per day. Initial contract duration will be 6 months, the process will be submissions no later than Thursday 18th November with interviews following on Monday 22nd and Wednesday 24th November. The successful candidate will start no later than 6th December 2021 (but earlier can be accommodated) - therefore an immediate start is preferred.
