Contract UI Engineer - React

Location & Duration: Full remote within UK, 3 months initially

Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £500 per day

An Investigo partner and start-up are looking to engage a consultant UI Engineer skilled in React to aid them in finishing a greenfield product build - this product is about to disrupt a huge market in the UK.

You'll join at a period of time where the initial build and functionality is near completion (with a number of extra features to build in) and you'll take the lead on the product UI utilising the JavaScript, TypeScript, React toolkit. You will work across the entire application as an SME to finesse the UI and integrate some core tech - all of the design and wireframe work has been done and statement of work built to match. This is a greenfield front-end build, and any experience of building UI from scratch would be hugely useful; the technology stack is driven by AWS, React, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.

Skills

• A hands-on development background working with JavaScript, TypeScript, React and building SaaS / PaaS application UIs - if you've used React Hooks, Functional Components then that will come in handy.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud hosted applications, any experience deploying with AWS Amplify would be beneficial.
• Experienced working with integrating bespoke technologies for automation, etc.
• Experience working in a small team, building UI from scratch or working for a business with SafetyTech would be hugely beneficial.

This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £500 per day. Initial contract duration will be 3 months with scope to extend alongside the 6-9 month workstream.
