Cost Savings Workstream Lead

£700 - 850 per day OUTSIDE IR35
2 days per week in London, 3 days remote
6 months initially

Investigo Executive are currently working with a Service Organisation going a large operation improvement transformation. The individual will be reporting into an Operations Director and will be responsible for managing one of a number of workstreams. The successful candidate will be tasked with the delivery of the change agenda through the definition, design and delivery of a project, within a wider programme or portfolio of change. The workstreams will cover areas such as:

  • Labour productivity and efficiency
  • Operational cost savings
  • Continuous improvement
  • 3rd party supplier

Scope of work:

  • Lead the development of the operational change project to realise the operational improvements
  • Co-ordinate the definition and delivery of detailed business requirements
  • Capture and facilitate lessons learned in conjunction with team members and other key stakeholders
  • Work in collaboration with project sponsors and other key stakeholders within the business to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of project outcomes
  • Deliver change into the organisation through the application of 'best in class' project and change management
  • Own project stakeholder relationships and engage the business more broadly with project communications
  • Take ownership for key project deliverables (such as the plan and budget) across the project lifecycle and apply appropriate methodologies to support the achievement of wider project aims and objectives
  • Forecast and manage the allocated budget/s effectively, understanding variances and always being cost conscious
  • Play an active role in continuously improving the engagement and performance of the team

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a "blue collar" environment. They will need to have experience of delivering operational improvement projects, around labour efficiencies.
