Job description
The role:
- Performs intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
- Self-organised with the ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and with competing business demands and priorities.
- Work on some major CRD enhancements as well as BAU support for Front Office and Regulatory needs
- Focused on delivering value to the business with relentless efforts to improve process.
- Liaise with end users for user acceptance testing
- Carry out 3rd Line support as required.
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party providers as required
Key Skills:
- CRD knowledge is a must
- Experience in software development methodology (Ex. Agile, Kanban)
- Excellent problem solving, analysis and interpretation skills
- Strong knowledge in SQL
- Java, C#.Net
- XML/XSLT
- Python, Perl or Groovy
- IBM MQ,
- CONTROL-M
- JIRA, Confluence, Crucible
- SSRS reporting
- Bloomberg
- Some knowledge in cloud development AWS/Azure
- Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket, Maven
- Knowledge of automated test tools and automates testing
- Knowledge and experience integrating with 3rd party applications
- Business knowledge and experience around equity trading - front and middle office workflows
