Data Engineer - Kafka / Hadoop / Java

My leading Financial Services client are currently building out their Data Streaming capabilities and are looking for Data Engineers to support this ongoing initiatives.

We are looking for Data Engineers with experience of working in Kafka ecosystems to help deliver development and implementation projects in the Big Data team.

We are looking for experience in any of the below skillsets, ideally blended with some exposure to Kafka:

- Hadoop

- Data Streaming - NiFi, Flume, Flink or StreamSets

- Java and/or Python

This is an initial 6 month contract, flexible on location, to start ASAP and paying good day rates outside of IR35.
