Data Modeller - Long Term Transformation Programme - Remote

My leading, large scale UK client are currently looking for 2 Data Modellers to join them on an initial 6 month contract. They are undertaking several large scale transformation programmes, one of which is the move from on-prem to Azure Cloud and the introduction of a relevant Data Lake. These two roles will sit within the Architecture & Design function and will be critical in the design and model of the database design and data lake.

Key Skills Required:

• Excellent knowledge of Data Warehousing Design Methodologies must have Kimball dimensional models
• Proven experience in Data Modelling tools such as ER Studio
• Working knowledge of Cloud based data and analytics solutions potentially using Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Informatica and PowerBI
• Experience in working as part of data delivery teams using multiple delivery methodologies, incl. Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall

You will be required too:

• Develop and update Physical Data Models (PDMS)
• Perform Data Analyst's responsibilities when required
• Work closely with Analysts and Architects to deliver low and high level designs based upon business requirements
• Analyse data sets to identify modelling logic and key attributes required for low-level designs
