Digital Procurement Manager

A business in the leisure industry with some of the most world known brands have invested a huge amount of money for the whole business to go through a digital transformation.

They are now looking for a hands on procurement manager to join their procurement team on a 12 month FTC.

They are looking for someone with procurement experience and some digital / tech category experience.

This is a very hands on role, someone who enjoys analysing data, identifying trends and then produces reports and presents it back. Someone who can work on their own initiative and does this hands on role now, or has recently.

It also involves all the usual contract negotiations, supplier management, internal and external stakeholder management, strategic sourcing and supplier engagement.

Experience required :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles, with a focus on digital products and services.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, methodologies, and best practices, with experience in technology procurement preferred.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills, with a track record of delivering cost savings and value creation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to support procurement strategies and objectives.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g. eSourcing, contract management, spend analysis) and Microsoft Office applications.
