LOCATION:

TITLE:

Director, Downstream Process Development (Gene Therapy)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Identification and implementation of operational improvements and novel technologies to improve purification processes
• Participation in project related teams and other internal/external collaborations
• Prepare and review of regulatory/CMC documents

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ph.D. with 10+ years related experience or MS/BS with 12+ year related experience with degree in a related field. 2+ years in a leadership role as an effective people manager
• Experience in process design, scale up and cGMP manufacturing of biologic products is required
• Direct experience in handling in vivo gene therapy products is highly preferred
• Experience in downstream techniques used in the purification of large molecules (tangential flow filtration (TFF), chromatography, ultrafiltration / diafiltration and other separation techniques
