Technology and Change Director working for a fast paced, high growth, digital consumer services organisation. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make that step up into a CIO role. You will report to the CIO and join on a planned succession route to the top job. You will join a relentlessly fast paced business who have enjoyed unprecedented success over recent years, EBIT now exceeds £100M and the business is on track to double this over the next 3/4 years.

This role will see you initially lead the Change and Transformation and Infrastructure and Operations areas of the business, both critical functions. Headcount across these areas numbers circa 70 people with the wider Technology team exceeding 100 heads. This role will be transformative in nature, the CIO is looking for some who can bring a fresh perspective and leadership to the Technology and Change organisation supporting highly capable functional leaders to continue to innovate and evolve their areas into best-in-class functions.

You will have proven experience at the senior Technology leadership level, managing diverse IT & Change resources and governance across a wide variety of businesses and be adept in operating within a matrix IT & Change organisation. You will have demonstrable experience building a supplier eco-system including offshore, building a partnership approach to ensure the eco-system delivers effectively and efficiently for the business. You will have experience and a working understanding of Information Security risks and how to ensure platforms and systems are delivered in a highly secure fashion. Along with your Change, transformation, and IT operations background you will also be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Software Development and Architecture principles at an enterprise level.

In person you will be highly motivated and eager to see success delivered through the teams you lead. You will have a strong commercial and operational awareness able to generate positive commercial outcomes through your work. This includes being able to operate and communicate at board level showing an excellent financial business understanding including the proven ability to get investment cases approved.
