Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect - Transformation, Multi-channel customer focused Business
OUTSIDE IR35 6 Month Contract

A transforming, multi-channel, customer centric business are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Enterprise Architect. The appointed contractor will be capable of developing strategies, roadmaps, capabilities, value streams operating models and architecture in relation to delivering on a strategy to develop and "Insurance as a Service platform" to support a UK General Insurer.

This role needs someone who has the capability and experience of working in fast paced, multi-channel customer focused organisations, ideally in the retail or finance sector. Experience of working in the UK General Insurance would be beneficial. You will be an enthusiastic technologist who is comfortable providing leadership in the Business
Architecture domain and able to support the implementation of projects and programme to deliver your
roadmap. Prior experience the following would be great to see:

Major Business Transformation, ideally including Target Operating Model Design

Prior experience of Capability Mapping, Capability Roadmaps and developing Value Stream
models

Understanding of wider architectural issues, including experience in at least two of the
following: Application Architecture, Data / Information Architecture, Enterprise Architecture
techniques and frameworks

Specific experience of Business Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture
Understanding complex business challenges & opportunities (risks and opportunities across
information, people, process and technology)

Customer focused: You see things through the eyes of the customer and strive to make
improvements based on the customer needs and experience

Commercially astute, able to present strategic concepts in the context of commercial
consideration

Exceptionalcommunication skills at all levels in the organisation, solid team player
Experience of working within fast paced, multi-channel customer focused organisations,
ideally in the retail or finance sector
