Job description

Investigo's major client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with experience in End User Computing for a large deployment project across 80 different sites globally. Our client is operating in a fascinating, fast-paced industry and requires an EUC expert to augment its existing Windows-based IT offering. This is role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end project to design, configure and deploy devices to end users and handover to operations.
  • EUC deployment (80 sites, 2000 laptops, 300 desktops, 3000 devices undertaking 'remote takeover
  • Technical project management and creation, management of project plans and project documentation, e.g. PID / project charter, project plan, test plan, architecture documents
  • Stakeholder engagement to define the scope of the key deliverables and any prioritisation required to meet the overall project goals
  • Managing the expectation of stakeholders and other work streams that may have interdependencies with the deliverables with the project
  • Managing vendors to deliver technical components of projects
  • Project reporting and communications including formal presentations when required
  • Review of technical documentation including high level designs and architecture specifications (with assistance from SMEs)

Skills and Experience

  • At least five years end to end EUC project management experience
  • End User Computing delivery background
  • Strong knowledge of desktop rollout / deployment and operating model design
  • Application / software packaging and delivery
  • Good experience of infrastructure technology deployment into production environments
  • Commercial focus with ability to manage budgets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities, building robust project plans and resourcing schedules
  • Experience managing 3rd party SI's (Accenture, big 4)
