European Financial Accountant

Investigo is thrilled to announce its support for a prominent Retail business based in Northamptonshire in their quest to hire a European Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

The Financial Accountant will report to the Group Financial Accounting Manager and will be entrusted with the task of producing monthly management accounts adhering to the Group's reporting schedule. Furthermore, they will jointly oversee the Continental Europe General Ledger Team, ensuring the Continental nominal ledgers comply with both Group and statutory accounting requirements.This role will also involve maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations, guaranteeing timely payments of direct and indirect taxes (including VAT returns), and submitting all associated financial statistical reports. This is a senior role and the Financial Accountant will serve as the primary point of contact for the year-end audit.
