We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join a rapidly expanding Restaurant Group in the West End. This role is a great way to gain great exposure and experience, with the opportunity to develop both analytical and commercial skills, enabling you to springboard your career in Finance. Your key stakeholders will be the Financial Planning manager, Commercial finance and month end teams, Leadership and Operations managers and the data team.

The role will include:

Preparation of regular weekly and monthly reporting
Ad-hoc analysis and commentary on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results
Design of new, insightful reports and analysis to support Big Table's aspirational reporting strategy
Play a key role in the business' budgeting/re-forecasting process; this includes: Ownership of the budgeting/forecasting process for certain cost lines
and ownership of the data integrity, undertaking analysis of all budget outputs and assisting with the preparation of presentation packs
Problem solving - Troubleshoot any data issues, identify the source of the problem, and liaise with the data team or external TM1 support provider to reach a resolution.
Data reconciliation

Candidate Specification:

Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA
Excellent excel skills and ability to work with large sets of data
Ideally previous reporting experience
Working knowledge of Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar system advantageous
Multi-site or consumer experience a plus
Knowledge of macros is useful but not essential
Rigorous attention to detail.
Desire to learn a must. Would suit a motivated individual keen to develop their career.
Keen problem solver with a love of analysis and data.
Team player willing to roll their sleeves up and get things done.
Self-starter and able to work independently
