Finance Analyst

What can you expect?

• Ensure all monthly reporting deadlines are met, assisting the Head of Finance with the review, finalisation, and presentation of forecast information.
• Provide business partnering support to IT project managers.
• Assist Project Managers in ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting.
• Review actual costs each period to prepare and submit accrual, prepayment, and cost transfer journals.
• Offer finance support during the forecasting and budgeting processes, including uploading forecasts and budgets.
• Assist the line manager with ad hoc financial analysis and presentation preparation.
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations for accruals and prepayments.
• Investigate and resolve day-to-day financial management issues, working closely with Project Managers and Finance, and conducting detailed transactional analysis as needed.

What will you need skills/attributes?

• Experience in supporting projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Part-qualified/ finalist accountant seeking to expand experience.
• Strong understanding of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Excellent communication skills for building effective business relationships.
• Advanced Excel skills.
