Finance Analyst - Business Operations

Investigo is pleased o be actively supporting in the additional hire of a Finance Analyst into an established asset management firm, head quartered in London. This role will sit in the finance function and be subject matter expert in the analysis and business partnering of BAU and project costs across the business.

This role will offer a fantastic opportunity to develop commercials skills for those looking to become a future leader or progress into a finance business partnering / FP&A route.

As SME for the business costs, the role will be very people facing and rely on not only a solid understanding of the accounting and month end process, but also a talent for building relationships.

Duties will encompass:

• Ownership over ensuring the month end close occurs on a timely basis and that cost accruals, prepayments and all associated journals are accurate and complete.
• Business partnering with other finance teams to provide high quality insight and analysis, including monthly handover of cost figures.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
• Work closely with the Statutory Accounting Team to ensure the audit is managed effectively and all actions are closed in a timely manner.
• Ownership over process improvements and developments - opportunity to influence and drive systems changes and implementation

Experience required:

• Recently qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant with experience working with finance operations and transactions (general ledgers - AR, AP)
• Driven, ambitious and proactive approach
• Consider yourself a strong team player and want to build strong relationships
