Are you an experienced finance professional with experience of financial analysis looking to take on more ownership over the MI packs and management responsibility?

Investigo is delighted to be partnering with a leading alternatives firm in London as they look to hire a Manager into their MI analysis team.

This role would suit an experience Analyst with a buy side background looking to step up into a Management role or an Accountant who has gained some exposure to FP&A / MI analysis within investment management and is looking to move into a role entirely focused on the analysis.

The successful applicant will have ownership over:

  • Delivery of monthly management information to Executive Committee and business managers
  • Partnering with business managers to ensure relevant, informative MI and financial analysis is provided as required
  • Preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and regular monthly forecasting throughout the year
  • Preparation of all schedules and analysis required to support management with the annual compensation delivery process including calculation of rewards
  • Identify development requirements and manage change processes to deliver required improvements to the finance function and to enhance the added value to the business
  • MI reporting and profitability analysis for each fee generating unit
  • MI reporting and actual vs budget reporting for main business functions

Experienced required:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional with at least 3 years PQE
  • Experience with management information packs, presenting to stakeholders and ExCo
  • Experience working in a buy side / investment firm with an understanding of complex product structures
  • Good technical accounting understanding
  • Proactive and driven approach with confidence to build relationships at multiple levels with a diverse pool of stakeholders
  • Proficient excel skills - working with large and complex data sets - modelling experience desirable
