Finance Business Partner

Investigo are delighted to be working with a highly successful Consumer Goods business in Cambridgeshire.

A market leader in their field, our client are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner to join their Commercial Finance Team.

The Finance Business Partner is very much a business facing finance role and will involve being in regular contact with Senior Management and Directors for long term decision making, budgeting and acting as the main finance point of contact.

You will support your non finance budget holders by advising and training them on any areas related to the budget process. Other areas of responsibility will include; consolidation of management accounts, including KPI reporting and budget holder reports; oversee the quarterly forecast process; produce the annual budget, including reviewing the business plans and future growth areas; and to work on many exciting projects and have the chance to make a name for yourself to the senior leadership teams.

The successful applicant (a Finalist or a Newly Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA) will have excellent data manipulation and analytical skills, where they can demonstrate how they've challenged non-finance with information that they have produced to enable strong business decisions to be made.

With a close link to the Sales team, you will have ideally had previous experiences in working with non-finance and have a personality that will suit its challenges. Consumer Goods or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential. The role is based in Huntingdon and working from home 1 or 2 days a week.
